Problem:

The department of security of the Piedmont Regional Government required a system to register and monitor the people entering its office buildings. The main system requirements were speed, and ease of use so that employees with limited IT knowledge were able to use it with minimum training.

Solution:

We developed Easy Access. A software with an easy to use interface, involving touchscreens and cameras that allows the user to input data and pictures of guests and print out a personal badge for each one. The system reduces the time required to register each guest, and helps the security team allocate access and monitor the guests whereabouts in the office buildings. The software was later modified utilising fingerprint technology to make the process of repeat visits even faster.

All our access management systems are in accordance with relevant data protection laws. The systems are flexible and can be used in a variety of settings including events, fairs and exhibitions.
